North Valley Ride Club
Here's how it works...
Easy comfortable pace as the group rides the lower park trails to Five Mile and cuts through the golf course to continue on upper park road. At Diversion Dam you pretty much climb at your own pace with a regroup at the end of the park road. From there we ride the remaining trail to the creek crossing where we carry bikes across. We wind our way to 10 Mile House Trail and climb/hike-a-bike to Green Gate. Regroup at the 132 parking lot and continue on to Forest Ranch. A final regroup at the store allows a BYOB Independence Day toast. The group then descends back on HWY 132 together "team time trial" style. This should get the group back to One Mile by 10:30 to take advantage of a pancake breakfast and Chico's 4th of July Celebration. I will ride my Fargo. Others have ridden cross, and mtb. Some have even taken their road bikes. Keep in mind that you need to be self sufficient for this ride. You are responsible for tubes, water, food, whatever you need. No sag available. Sketchy cell service in some parts. Will be a fun ride. Post or email any questions. Thanks! Ray Powered by NVRC
