North Valley Ride Club
A casual ride on a lazy, Saturday morning... ahhhh.
Meet at 8:15am for quick gathering before heading out at 8:30am, riding your own pace around Lake Almanor – clockwise. We'll regroup at top the first climb (mi 4) for a photo and continue to the south tip of the lake (mi 16), for the last regroup before jumping onto hwy 89 and a detour through Prattville and Almanor. And back to Chester for a burger. A general pace of 17-18mph will exist among most, but ride your ride. Bring a friend and introduce the beautiful lake by view of the bike. Be self-sufficient and prepared for mechanicals – NO sag is provided (if you have a flat or an issue, we'll do our best to help, but we won't have a sag vehicle). Bring water, fuel and money. Helmets are required and bikes in good working order with adequate tires and flat-fixing supplies. Route Info: 32 miles, 1080' climbing, 2.5 hrs https://ridewithgps.com/routes/23276657 EAT: Once we return to Chester, we'll head over to the Burger Depot to celebrate another day on the bike with friends. Bring money! Burger Depot, 336 Main Street, Chester Powered by NVRC
