Pace will be mild, expecting to take 4 hours each day. Roads are all gravel/fire roads... so knobby, fat tires are encouraged. Bring some cash to help out with camp ground fees - 8 heads per campsite, $10 per site (bring small cash). Bring your own camping gear/food for the night. Constant regroupings. Come prepared for self-sufficiency and knowledge of routes, downloaded or maps. Communicate needs with group. More info and gear recommendations from Swift. The Mile High Century is right around the corner!
On behalf of WOW and NVRC, I'd like to invite you to our Friday Night BBQ on the 14th and to ride with one of the two groups on Saturday the 15th! We highly suggest you register for the ride and support the Chester community. All are encouraged to participate so start planning now! Camping at this point is very limited, but you might try looking in Warner Valley or toward Spencer Meadows (Gurnsey Creek Campground or Highlands Ranch Resort RV and Campground). If you can't find a campsite, you can always drive up the morning of the ride! (but you'll miss out on Pam's baby-back ribs!) If you have any questions, please let me know or call/text Pam.
