MEET: We'll roll from the Steve Harrison Bike Arches and head south on the levee. Bring self-sufficient gear, money and water. A quick meeting before we head out. GRIND: Join us to explore the local levees heading south out of Chico. Out and back options 40-50ish miles. Regroups as needed. Route: tbd Ride Leader, Janine R. and Ray B. EAT: Mi Pueblito in Durham, three thumbs up! MEET: Choose your ride and start location respectively. We'll gather folks along the way and ride the local classic loop - Doe Mill / Centerville Loop!
GRIND: This is a beautiful intro to Gravel Grinding! About 42 miles, with two separate gravel areas, the first (the one you know from Paskenta, on Newville road) is about 5 miles, and the second (Long Hollow Road) is about 7 miles long. Less than 2000 ft climbing in 42 miles also helps to make it beginner friendly. So if you've been wanting to try a gravel ride, this is for you! Grind at your own pace with a few regroup meet ups, to be determined. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28631999 Ride Leader, Janine R. and Ray B. EAT: Orland, Don Sammy's! The carnitas is AMAZING! MEET: Choose your ride and start location respectively. We'll gather folks along the way and ride the local classic loop - Doe Mill / Centerville Loop!
GRIND: Three start options, all have the same amount of mostly excellent quality dirt roads. Grind at your own pace with a few regroup meet ups, to be determined. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/3577768 Ride Leader, Janine R. EAT: Afterward, we'll discuss the best options for good eats, dependent on those riding. |
